George Albert Jones, 1962 - 1963

George Albert Jones lived at Weyburn, Landsdowne Avenue, Codsall. He worked at Laystall Cromard Ltd before becoming the head of Boma Engineering (Wolverhampton) Ltd. He was elected to Bilston Urban District Council in 1937, representing the Bradley Ward. After serving as mayor from 1962 to 1963, he sold his business and the following year was ordained as a Methodist Minister.
