Arthur Charles Skidmore, 1915 - 1917

Arthur Skidmore, the younger brother of former mayor Fredrick Skidmore, was a solicitor by profession. He was elected mayor in 1915, holding the office until 1917. In 1918 he was made an alderman. He was chairman of two committees, the Water Committee from 1919 until 1920; and the Care of the Blind Committee from 1921 until 1924.
