James
Langman, 1867- 1868
Langman was born and raised in Wolverhampton. He was a silversmith
who assisted in the family business, James Langman Ltd. A jewellers,
clothier and pawnbroker business, it was based at 21 Dudley Street,
St Mark's Place, Chapel Ash, Wolverhampton; and at 9 New Street,
Dudley. Langman eventually became the proprietor. He became a member
of Wolverhampton Council, and served on the Board of Guardians for
a number of years.
