If you are interested in the past,
the present or the future of Wolverhampton we may be able to help.
For up-to-date news
from Archives & Local Studies visit www.wolverhampton.gov.uk/archives
Wolverhampton Archives
and Local Studies acquires material about the local area and this
is made available for you to look at free of charge. We have documents,
maps, photographs, books, videos and film etc. relating to all aspects
of the history of places now within the City of Wolverhampton (including
Bilston, Penn, Tettenhall and Wednesfield).

Sixth
form students and their teacher view original documents.
We are constantly reviewing
our website and attempting to put as much information online as
we can. Some of the material on these pages requires special software
to view it.
There are maps and a family history tutorial which require the Flash
Player, and many of our lists and indexes require version 4 of the
Acrobat Reader.
These can
be downloaded free by clicking on the buttons below
