in and around Wolverhampton
Tettenhall
Tettenhall Urban District
Council was formed in 1894 taking the place of the Local Government
Board which had been formed in 1883. The urban district council
was wound up in 1966 when Tettenhall became part of the Borough
of Wolverhampton. Part of the building which housed the UDC offices
in Upper Green, Tettenhall, was later converted for use as Tettenhall
Regis branch library which itself was relocated to Upper Street
in 1999.
